OPL welcomes program suggestions from community members. If you have a program idea you would like to propose, please complete this form.
The Orangeville Public Library (OPL) offers programming for a variety of age groups that aims to meet the informational, educational, recreational and cultural needs and interests of the community. Programs can provide information, invite public discussion, encourage curiosity, spark creativity, and foster a love of literacy and lifelong learning.
Please note: Confirmation that your proposal has been received will be provided within 5 business days, but proposals will be reviewed on a quarterly basis by a committee. Program ideas will be evaluated based on current capacity in relation to OPL's Strategic Plan and in accordance with the Working with Us Policy. For a copy of these documents in an alternate format, please email infolibrary@orangeville.ca or call Jillian at 519-941-0610 Ext. 5221.
Thank you for submitting your proposal and providing the library with an opportunity to consider for the future. Proposals received are not guaranteed to result in a program delivered.
OPL is pleased to work with a variety of qualified and knowledgable presenters who are able to offer programs that share their professional expertise with the community.
In accordance with library policy, please note that programs should provide information and cannot promote a business and/or sales and solicitation. The presentation will offer an opportunity to network and foster a positive image.
Library sponsorship of a program does not constitute an endorsement of the content of the program or the views expressed by presenters or participants.
